Questions, answered plainly
The space a session needs, what to wear, how long cupping marks stay, what I bring and how a booking works. If something is still unclear, write to me and I will answer myself.
What people ask first
How much does a mobile massage cost in Sydney?
Across Sydney the range is wide. Platforms start near a hundred and thirty dollars for sixty minutes, then add for evenings, weekends, parking and hotels, so a Saturday night booking in a hotel room often lands between two hundred and eighty and three hundred and twenty. Hotel spas sit between one hundred and ninety and two hundred and eighty for the same hour, and you go to them. Here, sixty minutes is two hundred and ninety dollars, seventy-five is three hundred and thirty, ninety is three hundred and eighty. Travel is included across the lower North Shore, and the price you see is the price you pay in my core hours. There is no booking fee, no surcharge for a Sunday morning, and no different rate depending on which pair of hands turns up, because it is always the same pair.
Is cupping safe if I take blood thinners?
Tell me before we book, and I will not use cups. Anticoagulants are one of the situations where the cups come off the table entirely, and there are others: skin that is broken or healing, a recent surgery, a condition you are actively being treated for. I am not the person to judge whether a treatment suits your medical situation, and I will not pretend otherwise. What I can do is work without cups, which is the Signature Massage, and it loses nothing. If you are unsure, say so when we speak and we will simply choose the session that carries no question mark. The conversation takes a minute and it happens before anything is booked, not on the doorstep.
What is it called when a massage therapist comes to your home?
Mobile massage, in-home massage or home-visit massage. The words differ, the thing is the same: the practitioner brings the table, the linen and the oils to your address, and the hour happens where you live. In a hotel it is called in-room massage. This is all I do.
How early in the morning can you come?
Five in the morning. Not as an exception, as a normal hour. A large part of the week is booked before seven, by people who would rather have the hour before the house wakes up than after a full day of it. The last session of the day ends by eight in the evening. Between those two, seven days a week. If you train early, a session before the day starts leaves you with the whole morning still ahead. If you have children, the hour before they are up is often the only one that belongs to you. Early bookings are the easiest to hold week after week, because nothing else competes for that time.
Can you come to a hotel room?
Yes, and it is a large part of what I do. I bring the table, fresh linen and everything the hour needs, so nothing has to be arranged with the hotel beyond letting me up. A standard room has enough space once a chair is moved. If the room has a terrace and the weather is with us, we can work outside instead. Call or text and tell me the hotel and the time you have in mind. Evening bookings after work are the most common, and they are the ones that fill first, so a day of notice helps. Serviced apartments across North Sydney and Chatswood work exactly the same way.
What is the difference between booking you and booking through a platform?
A platform sends whoever is available. That is its strength, and it is why it can cover a whole city. The cost is that nobody accumulates any knowledge of your body: every session starts from zero, and you explain your shoulder again. Here it is one person. I remember what your back was doing last month, which side you sleep on, what you told me you were training for. If it helps, we can sit down over a coffee first, so the session is built on something rather than on a form. If you would rather just book the hour, that works too. If you want a massage tonight anywhere in Sydney, a platform will serve you better. If you want the same hands to know your body over a year, that is what this is. The full comparison, with published prices.
Do I need to tip a massage therapist in Australia?
No. Tipping is not expected in Australia, and it is not expected here. The price covers the hour, the travel, the table, the linen and the oil, and nothing is added afterwards. If you want to do something that genuinely helps, the two things worth more than a tip are telling someone you know, and writing a few honest lines on the Google profile. Word of mouth is how a single practitioner fills a week, and a review written in your own words carries further than money. Payment is settled after the session, by card or bank transfer. There is no online payment on this site, and I will never ask for card details in a message.
In-home massage
What makes the Signature Massage different from a standard massage?
I work in long, slow, continuous waves that travel the full length of the body, holding feet and shoulders in the same movement. There is no sequence of separate techniques. The session is one unbroken gesture, from the first contact to the last.
How firm is the pressure?
Slow does not mean light. The pressure is deep and steady, and I adjust it to you throughout. Tell me once and I recalibrate, you will never need to ask twice.
Which duration should I choose for a first session?
Ninety minutes. It gives the body time to settle before the deeper work begins, and it is the duration most clients return to. Sixty is a focused session, seventy-five gives the deeper work more room.
Can I ask you to spend more time on certain areas?
Yes. Tell me before we begin, in a message or in person, and I shape the session around it. The continuous style stays, the emphasis moves to where you need it.

Assisted stretching
What happens in an assisted stretching session?
You lie on my table and I move you. I guide each limb through slow, held stretches while you do nothing at all. It feels closer to a massage than to exercise, and you finish feeling longer and more settled.
Do I need to be flexible already?
No. I work within the range your body offers on the day, never past it. People who describe themselves as stiff tend to notice the most.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing you can move in. Leggings or shorts and a t-shirt are ideal. You stay fully dressed for the entire session.
How often should I do it?
Once feels good, a rhythm changes things. Most of my stretching clients settle into a weekly session, which is why Le Rythme, the weekly assisted stretch membership, exists, sixty minutes at $150 a week or seventy five at $180.
Massage with dry cupping
What is dry cupping and how does it feel?
Silicone cups create a gentle lift on the skin while I continue the massage around and beneath them. Most people describe the sensation as a warm, drawing pressure. It is quieter than it looks.
Will the cups leave marks, and how long do they last?
Often, yes. Temporary circular marks are common. They often fade within several days but may remain visible for longer. Most people feel nothing from the marks themselves, they are not bruises from impact. If you have an event coming up, tell me and I will place the cups accordingly.
Who is Recovery + Cupping for?
People who train, and people who carry their week in their shoulders and back. If you run, lift, swim, or simply sit long hours at a desk, this is the session built for the load you put through your body.
Is there anyone cupping is not suitable for?
Yes, and it is easier if you tell me before we start. I leave the cups aside if you take blood thinners or anticoagulants, if you have a bleeding or clotting disorder, if the skin in the area is broken, sunburnt, or affected by eczema or psoriasis, over a recent injury or a fresh scar, if you are pregnant, or if you are being treated for a blood clot. Same for an area with a pacemaker or a similar device. None of this cancels anything. The massage runs exactly as planned, without the cups, and most people do not feel the session was any shorter for it. I cannot tell you whether cupping suits a medical condition, and I will not try. If you are unsure, ask your doctor first. And if you would rather not go into detail, just say you would prefer no cups. That is enough, and I will not ask why.
Can I have the Signature Massage without cupping, or cupping on its own?
The Signature Massage is massage only, no cups. In the recovery session the cupping is woven into the massage rather than offered separately, the two work as one continuous session.
How a session arrives at your home
Do you come to apartments as well as houses?
Yes, and most of my sessions on the lower North Shore are in apartments. The table needs about three metres by two and a half of clear floor, which a living room gives once the coffee table moves. I carry the table up stairs if there is no lift, I only need to know beforehand, and if your building has visitor parking or a loading bay, a word to the concierge saves ten minutes. Everything else is the same as in a house.
Can you do the session outdoors, in a garden or a park?
A private garden, a terrace or a balcony, yes, when the weather is with us and the ground is level enough for the table. A public park is different: since July 2026 North Sydney Council requires an approval for any paid activity in the parks it manages, and Mosman has the same kind of rule, so I do not set up in a public park without one. Tell me where you have in mind and I will say what is possible.
How much space do you need?
A clear area of roughly three metres by two metres. A living room with the low table moved aside, a study, a garage, a covered terrace, all work. I have set up in smaller spaces than you would think.
Do I need a massage table?
No. I bring everything: the table, fresh linens, oils, cups, and music if you want it. You provide the room and yourself.
Do you bring linens and towels?
Yes, freshly laundered for every session. You will not need to prepare anything, though some clients like to have their own towel ready for afterwards.
What oils do you use?
A plain, unscented professional massage oil by default. If you have allergies or sensitive skin, tell me when we confirm and I will bring an alternative.
What about pets and children at home?
Both are part of home life and neither is a problem. For the session itself the room works best with the door closed, a curious dog and a sixty minute massage rarely mix. Do whatever makes your home feel normal.
Do you need parking?
A spot within a short walk is ideal, since I carry the table and linen in. If parking is tight, tell me when you write and I will plan to arrive a few minutes early.
What if my building has no lift?
Not a problem. Let me know the level and I will carry everything up. It only means I arrive a little earlier to set up without rushing.
How should I prepare the room?
You do not need to prepare anything. A quiet space roughly three metres by two metres is enough. I bring and set up the table, then pack it all down at the end.

How payment works
How do I pay?
In person, after the session, by card or bank transfer. There is no online payment on this site and I will never ask for card details in a message.
How is my booking confirmed?
You request a time through the site, which opens a prepared message by text, WhatsApp or email. I reply personally, we settle the day and hour, and my written confirmation is your booking. Nothing is automated.
Do your rates change by time of day or on weekends?
In my core hours the price you see is the price you pay, travel included within my area. Late evenings and weekends are held at a higher rate, settled when we confirm the time. Sessions run from 5am to 8pm. Later than that is possible when the day needs it, at the evening rate.
Is a mobile massage more expensive than a clinic?
Often a little, because the hour carries the travel, the table and the linen, and one practitioner is booked for one person. Here the price you see is the whole price within my area, with nothing added for the table or the drive. What you save is the car, the parking and the waiting room, and the hour after the session, which you spend at home.
Is a mobile massage worth it?
If the hour after matters as much as the hour itself, yes. When the session ends you are already where you wanted to be: no drive, no stairs, no small talk on the way out. The table is set in the room you chose, and I leave it as I found it. People who have tried it once tend not to go back to the clinic.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens, and there is a clear way to handle it. With more than 24 hours notice, we simply find another time at no cost. Between 4 and 24 hours, 50 percent of the session fee applies. With less than 4 hours notice, or if you are not there, the full fee applies, and it may be invoiced. Genuine emergencies are different, and I review them personally. The full policy is on the booking and cancellation policy page.
How does the membership pricing work?
Le Cercle is the massage membership: a standing session at the rhythm you choose, from every week to once a month, with member rates from $250 a session. The more regular the rhythm, the lower each session costs. Le Rythme, the weekly assisted stretch membership, is held each week: sixty minutes at $150 a week or seventy five at $180.
The answers are simple because the work is. You stay where you are, and the hour comes to you.

Trust, qualifications and safety
Are you qualified and insured?
Yes. I hold a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy from Evolve College in North Sydney, training in assisted stretching, and a certificate in dry cupping. My Diploma of Remedial Massage is in progress and completes in March 2027. I am First Aid trained and fully insured. I work within my training and refer out when something belongs with a doctor or physiotherapist.
Can someone else be home during the session?
Yes, always. If having a partner, a friend or family in the home makes you more comfortable, that is completely welcome. Your comfort comes first.
What is a red flag in massage?
No table and no linen. No questions about your body before the work starts. A practitioner who will not name their training or their association, who has no written cancellation policy, or who steers the session away from the room you chose. Anything that is not about the work. I bring the table, I ask first, and the session stays exactly where you set it.
Can I touch my massage therapist?
No. This is professional bodywork, and it runs one way: I work, you rest. Draping stays in place, the session stays on the table, and anything outside that ends it at once. The same line protects you, and it is why the table and the linen come with me every time.
Can I request a female practitioner?
Sessions are always with me, Farid, as this is a single practitioner practice. If you would feel more comfortable with a female practitioner, this may not be the right practice for you, and that is completely okay.
What if I am pregnant?
Pregnancy needs specific training that I do not currently hold. Write to me before booking and I will be honest with you. In most cases it is better to see a practitioner trained in pregnancy massage.
Do you offer health fund rebates?
No. Maison Prestance is a private recovery and mobility practice and does not currently process health fund rebates.
Do you treat injuries or medical conditions?
This is bodywork for recovery and mobility, not medical treatment. I do not diagnose or treat injuries. If something needs medical care, I will say so and point you to the right professional.
Anything unanswered
If a question is still sitting with you, write to me. I answer myself, usually within the day, and I would rather talk it through than have you guess.
