Deep tissue, sports massage and cupping, in your own home

Hands, cups and stretch, in the same hour.

If it becomes regular

Le Cercle

The same hour kept for you, at the rhythm you choose, with the same practitioner each time. It covers this session and the massage alike, and the more regular the rhythm, the lower the rate.

One continuous massage, cups worked in

DuringCups draw, hands stay
AfterMassage settles it

Deep tissue, sports massage, cupping.

Three ways into the same hour. Tell me how your week went and I choose the mix, or ask for one by name.

Deep tissueFirm, slow pressure into the layers that will not let go, as firm as you want it, checked in as we go
Sports massageBuilt around your training week: the areas your sport loads, before or after a session, firmer or lighter depending on the day

The marks, honestly.

Before you decide, here is exactly what to expect on the skin afterwards.

What you seeRound marks where the cups sat, not a bruise from pressure
How longThey often fade within several days but may remain visible for longer
AfterwardsAn event coming up? Tell me and I place the cups out of sight

Dry cupping or gliding cupping.

If you do not know, we try what fits and then you can decide. Most sessions use both.

Static

Dry Cupping

Cups stay in place for a short time over loaded areas while the hands keep working. Best when the body feels dense, heavy or held.

Moving

Gliding Cupping

One cup drawn slowly through oil along the back or the legs, the way a hand would travel. Lighter marks, closer to a deep massage. How gliding cupping works

Deep tissue and cupping, the questions people ask.

Is deep tissue included, or extra? +
Included, at the same price. Firm, slow pressure into the tight layers, where you tell me it is dense, as firm as you want it, and I check in as we go. Cups come in only if a region needs them; you can also ask for hands only.
When should you avoid deep tissue? +
A fresh injury, a recent operation, a fever or an illness that is still running, a pregnancy without your doctor's go-ahead, or if you take blood thinners or bruise very easily. Tell me before we begin and I keep the pressure lighter or leave that area out. This is bodywork, not treatment: I do not diagnose, and a session does not replace care from a doctor or physiotherapist.
What does gliding cupping do? +
The cup is moved slowly through oil along the back or the legs, so the lift travels instead of staying in one place. It feels closer to a deep, slow massage than to static cups, and it leaves lighter marks. I use it when a whole region feels heavy rather than one spot. Gliding cupping, explained.
Where should cupping not be done? +
Not over the front of the neck, the face, broken or irritated skin, a fresh injury, varicose veins, or a pregnancy without your doctor's go-ahead. If you take blood thinners or bruise very easily, tell me before we begin; I will usually keep to the hands. This is bodywork, not treatment, and I do not diagnose.
What is the downside of cupping? +
The marks. Round, darker patches where the cups sat, not bruises from pressure. They often fade within several days but may remain visible for longer. Some people feel a little tender or tired afterwards, the way they might after a firm massage. Nothing is cut and there is no wet cupping: this is dry cupping only.
How much does a cupping session cost? +
$290 for sixty minutes at home, travel included within the area I cover, with the cupping worked into the massage rather than billed as an extra. 75, 90 and 120 minutes are on the grid above. There is no separate cupping fee.
Does cupping release knots? +
Massage pushes into tissue; the cup lifts it. Many people feel a dense area let go faster with the two together, which is why I never place a cup without the hands before and after. What it does not do is treat a condition: I do not diagnose, and a session does not replace care from a doctor or physiotherapist.
Is cupping a Chinese therapy? +
Cupping has a long history in Chinese medicine, and in Middle Eastern and European practice too. What I do is the modern dry version used in sports recovery: silicone and plastic cups, no heat, no wet cupping, no needles, set by hand and released the moment you ask.
